Welcome to Cibolo Little League
Our planning committee is working overtime to be prepared for the Fall 2025 Season. Our plans are to have everything operational and ready to go for all players 12 and under. If we get the field space, we'll have age groups 13 to 16 ready for the 2026 Spring Season.
News Update
UPDATED July 27, 2025. We have been overwhelmed with the amount of emails received asking about registrations. We appreciate everyone's interest while we finalize several details in making Cibolo Little League become a reality.
Where we are today: We are currently planning meetings with the City of Cibolo to finalize the details to use the fields. As you can imagine, there are several moving parts that have to come together in order to make this work. We are encouraged in the feedback we've gotten so far.
As of last week, we have also officially sent in our paperwork to Little League International (LLI) in Williamsport to get our charter. Once we get our charter from LLI, we will take the necessary steps to establish our league and dot the i's and cross the t's completing all the back end details we have on our to-do list.
We are still planning to begin our journey the 2025 Fall Ball Season. We will continue to update our webpage as we get details worked out.
Call for Volunteers: CLL success depends on volunteers. We'll be looking for managers, coaches, umpires, concession stand workers, and many others. Look for additional information coming soon if you are interested in becoming part of our volunteer team.
UPDATED January 29, 2025. At Tuesday's City Council meeting, the plans for Cibolo Little League were presented to the city council. The council asked some very good questions and were excited about the prospects of bringing Little League to the city. After some discussion, a motion was raised and approved 7 to 0 authorizing the City Manager to continue to finalize details to establish the league. We are very excited and will be moving forward with our planning efforts.
January 20, 2025: We are confirmed to be on the agenda for the January 28th City Council meeting to update everyone of our intentions. We will post an update after the meeting.
We are currently meeting with the City of Cibolo to negotiate our future home. Talks have been very positive and we're working out the details. We do have written letters from two leagues allowing changes to the boundary to include Cibolo Limits. Once we finalize our future home, we'll be submitting the necessary paperwork to establish our Little League Charter. Upon approval, we'll begin our inaugural season, projected to be the Fall of 2025.
We will be part of District 31, in Texas East. We do anticipate having both Baseball and Softball divisions, from T-Ball to Majors. We will be meeting with the City of Cibolo to have our league play at the Cibolo Youth Sports Complex on Main Street. Depending on registration numbers, we plan to inter-league with New Braunfels Little League and Seguin Little League to give our players the opportunity to experience different levels of talent.
We will also be reaching out to the local community asking for sponsorships to help get the league going. We believe in community supporting community. We encourage everyone to support our local businesses.
Our community is growing and we know that with the participation of our residents, Cibolo Little League will establish a new tradition, one that we all will be proud of.
